INSPIRATIONS | AUTUMN INSPIRATIONS

Jeśli miałabym wybrać swoją ulubioną porę roku, to zdecydowanie byłoby to lato. Jeśli jednak chodzi o modę, to szczególnie doceniam tę jesienną. Umiarkowane temperatury i posmak mijającego lata tworzą razem energetyczną mieszankę, która, jak żadna inna, rodzi niecodzienne stylizacje i dostarcza nam mnóstwa inspiracji. Jesienny styl jest bardzo eklektyczny - łączy w sobie to, co najlepsze z letniej i zimowej garderoby. Szczególnie widoczne jest to na pokazach mody z sezonu wiosna/lato - w październiku wręcz połykam setki zdjęć street fashion i podziwiam niezwykły styl paryskich, londyńskich czy nowojorskich "it girls". Są dla mnie inspiracją i miłą odskocznią od szarości za oknem. Nie dziwi mnie już łączenie letnich sukienek z futrami, czy eleganckich ołówkowych spódnic z wielkimi swetrami i sportowym obuwiem. Uwielbiam te z pozoru szokujące i niekonwencjonalne mixy!

If I had to choose my favorite time of year, it would definitely be summer. When it comes to fashion, I especially appreciate autumn. Lower temperatures and taste of the passing year together form the energy mix, which, more than any other, creates unusual styling and gives us a lot of inspiration. Fall style is very eclectic - combining the best of summer and winter wardrobe. This is particularly evident on the catwalks of the season spring / summer - in October I even swallow hundreds of street fashion photos and admire the unusual style of Paris, London or New York, "it girls". They are an inspiration to me and a nice break from the gray outside. I'm not surprised now combining summer dresses with fur, or elegant pencil skirts with big sweaters and sport shoes. I love these seemingly shocking and unconventional mixes!

O ile latem wystarczy włożyć lekką sukienkę i sandały, by wyglądać hot, o tyle w październiku czy listopadzie trzeba się trochę nakombinować. Dopiero jesienią można pochwalić się prawdziwą inwencją twórczą. A stoi przed nami nie lada wyzwanie: chcemy wyglądać elegancko, modnie i subtelnie ale jednocześnie nasz strój musi być wystarczająco ciepły, by ogrzać nas w coraz chłodniejsze dni. Jesień jest zatem wymagającym sprawdzianem dla naszej kreatywności w komponowaniu poszczególnych części garderoby. Czym się ratować? Ja stawiam na sukienki i spódnice w połączeniu z efektownym płaszczem i kozakami.  

While in summer it is enough to put just a light dress and sandals, to look hot, then in October or November it takes some problems. Before us stands a challenge: we want to look elegant, fashionable and subtle but at the same time our clothes must be warm enough to warm us in getting colder days. Autumn is therefore a demanding test of our creativity in composing various pieces of clothing. What can save our outfits? I put on dresses and skirts combined with a spectacular mantle and boots.

Dużym ograniczeniem jest dla nas klimat - nie oszukujmy się - w Polsce zestawy z lookbooków, w których modelki noszą płaszcze do sandałów i botków bez rajstop, są raczej mało realne. Chyba, że ktoś wpisał gęsią skórkę na swoją listę "must have" ;-) A dla Was, która pora roku jest największym modowym "wyzwaniem"? :-)

A big limitation is our climate - let's face it - in Poland sets from lookbooks where models wear coats with boots and sandals without stockings, are rather unlikely. Oh, but maybe someone entered the goose bumps on "must have" list ;-) And for You, which time of year is the biggest fashion "challenge"? :-)
